Scouters & Scouting Friends:
On Sunday, August 17th, Western District, CT Rivers Council, will hold a "Roundtable" gathering at Camp Mattatuck in Plymouth. This is an opportunity for you to make personal contact with dozens of scout leaders representing our 80 Cub Packs, Scout troops, and Venture Crews in Western Connecticut.
Our "midway" will occur between 2PM and 3PM at a large pavilion a short walk from the parking lot. If you arrive a little early you can drive closer to drop off gear, then return your vehicle to the parking lot. Bring a table, canopy(optional), handouts, etc. If you require electricity please let us know and we may be able to provide it. This is a rain-or-shine event.
Our Cub Scout program is for ages 5-10.
Our Scouts BSA program is for ages 11-17
Our Venture program is for ages 14-21

Our June 9th Western District Scouter Recognition Dinner is the ideal time to recognize people in your unit and beyond who have made the extra effort to bring a quality scouting program to our young people.
The dinner, to be held at Torrington Elks Lodge, will feature a keynote address from Eagle Scout, West Point graduate, and Commander of the 1109th TASMG, Connecticut National Guard, Andy Erickson.
