We're egiving every new Cub Scout that registers before October 1*, a free fishing pole and inviting them one of two our free fishing derbies being held at Camp Mattatuck and June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation.Units who meet membership goals could also earn a free weekend of camp those weekends to start the Cub Scout Session off on adventure. Learn more!
*Cub Scouts who join after, are still able to earn a free fishing pole while suppiles last.
Membership & Recruiting Resources
Recruiting new families to join Scouting takes planning and preparation. With today’s busy family lifestyle, it takes multiple ways and multiple tries to reach new families to invite them to join Scouting. One of the keys to a successful campaign is to start planning early. Start your planning now for a successful recruitment campaign and be sure to reach out to your District Membership Chair, District Executive, and Unit Commissioner for assistance. It may appear overwhelming at first, but it’s not. We have numerous tools and resources to help you throughout your successful recruitment campaign this fall.
2025-2026 Registration Membership Fees
Registration is valid for 1 year from the date of registration or the renewal date.
Scouts – $160 per year
Adults – $80 per year
Scouts who qualify for Husky – $60 per year
Merit Badge Counselors – $25 per year (if not paid elsewhere)
